“Recognised, Refuted, Rejected. The Quartodecimans and the Eastern Controversy in the heresiological traditions of the 3rd and 4th Centuries”, Åbo Akademi University, Turku, Finland, 23. -24. 08. 2018

Gladly following the invitation of the conference organisators of the conference “Religious Polemics and Encounters in Late Antiquity: Boundaries, Conversions and Persuasion” which was hold at Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland, 23. -24. 08. 2018. My contribution goes partially back to my doctoral dissertation and one of my paper about bishop Victor I. of Rome (?189-?199) and his role in the so called “Eastern controversy”. It aims to examine the changening attitudes towards the “Quartodecimans” in heresiography of the 3rd and 4th centuries.
