Here it is: DigitalHistoryGuineaPig.
It could be a (digital) animal, but it is not. Rather, it is an experimental digital and public history playground based on open science principles.
It’s origins and early carreer go back to an Ancient Christianity class at KU Leuven in early 2023.
The idea behind DigitalHistoryGuineaPig simple: Why not bring students’ (claimed) digital competence into the classroom and use it as “natural habitat” for learning about ancient Christianity?
Over the years, my digital explorations of the ancient (Christian) world required a new home. Thus, DigitalHistoryGuineaPig was turned from a digital classroom into a digital and public history playground.
Because history is full of exciting stories worth sharing.
